UNICEF USA launched the Global Citizenship Fellowship in January 2012, uniting and empowering American youth and volunteers in service on behalf of children around the world. The fellowship is a highly-competitive, full-time, two year program that prepares diverse, committed, and globally minded individuals for effective leadership in public service.
The 2019-2021 Fellowship cohort applications are open on the UNICEF USA Career portal, including:

- UNICEF UNITE Community Building Fellow (NYC)
- UNICEF UNITE Advocacy & Engagement Fellow (NYC)

When will the Community Engagement roles be posted? Are there Fellowships in other cities?
After seven years of the Community Engagement Fellowship’s proven impact across the country, UNICEF USA is transitioning the Community Engagement Fellowship roles to permanent Community Engagement Associate staff in select markets. These roles will no longer be part of the Global Citizenship Fellowship program. Exact locations for the Community Engagement Associates will be posted in May 2019. Interested?
